About OurLoveTools

OurLoveTools is a collection of 40 free tools for couples — name combiners, compatibility calculators, relationship quizzes, message generators, and a handful of practical daily-use tools like a shared expense splitter and a savings tracker. It started as a single tool and grew from there, one small idea at a time.

Why it exists

Most relationship-related tools online come with a catch: an account requirement before you see a result, an email gate, or a subscription upsell halfway through. The goal here was the opposite — type something in, get an answer instantly, leave if you want to. No login screen standing between you and the thing you actually came for.

How it's built

Every tool runs primarily in your own browser. Most calculations, quizzes, and generators need nothing from a server at all — the logic runs as JavaScript on the page you're already looking at. A few tools, like the AI Love Letter Generator, do call a backend to generate genuinely unique AI content, but even then nothing you type is saved afterward. That's a deliberate architectural choice, not a policy we added after the fact.

Who's behind it

OurLoveTools is an independent project, built and maintained by a small team rather than a large company. It's one of a few side projects in active development, alongside a longer-term goal of running a small software studio.
